Important-type things
Mar. 17th, 2005 10:56 amThe cat's priorities consist of finding a comfortable place to sleep, getting enough food (and more, if possible) cuddles when required and standing up to the dog.
The dog's priorities consist of finding cofortable places to sleep, getting enough food (and hoarding it when there's plenty) cuddles when required (which is almost always) and tormenting the cat.
Compatible priorities? Perhaps.
But what does one do when one's prioroties don't necessarily mesh comfortably with those of one's partner? Does one simply extend understanding and encouragement (and hope to receive it in turn) or does one consider the possibility that maybe the relationship is not necessarily workable in the long term?
*sigh*
Why does life always have to get in the way of good things?
