Well, who knew...?
Sep. 13th, 2007 10:25 pm..that you could tailgate in a checkout line? I was on my way through the express line at Woolworths this afternoon, and a guy standing behind me kept bumping my bag with his shopping basket. I knew not if he was aware he was doing it, but sure enough, each time I inched forward, there he was, right behind me, bumping his basket into my bag. Perhaps I should have said something, but I have never encountered this particular phenomenon before.
Has it come to this? Are people in such a hurry that they think if they huddle close behind someone in the line, they will get through more quickly?
Why?
