..by a whole year, if anyone were to ask my age, but in reality only a day older since yesterday.
Wiser? Perhaps. There have been many changes in my life since this time last year. Most, though certainly not all, have been positive.
Birthdays used to be for having cake and presents, and feeling special for a day. These days they are the time to reflect and take stock of the things I have achieved, and more importantly, the things I have yet to achieve. Most of the time I feel too old not to have done half the things I haven't done yet.
Time for some serious catching up, methinks.
