What's wrong here?!

I HATE Seek.

Having been advised by a Beilby employment consultant not to include referees on my initial resume, I try to delete them from the online resume I want to send in response to job adds.

I try 15 times to delete them, and every time they just come right back up.

I scream at the computer (and would have smashed it if it was actually my computer, but it isn't) - this makes no difference.

Can someone who knows about computers/internet vaguaries please tell me what I can do about this?

as much as they think you shouldn't use them, EVERYTHING i've ever read or heard or experienced tells me that they are never a negative, and can only be a positive thing. They can only be bad if you don't select good referees, and that's kinda not sensible.

Even if it's just the fact they notice that you have referees, they certainly will notice if you don't have them!

as for why you cant delete them from seek, I'd imagine that you can change them, so try changing one to all blank details. if you can't do that, then they actually either require you to have referees or have made it that they aren't actually able to be edited and removed from the database i'd imagine they're kept in.
I don't use seek myself, but this is just how i imagine they work.
