In which I bask in the glow of a happy weekend...

..but only briefly, for now, as I'm incredibly tired and have to get up for work tomorrow.

Yay!

Got to see my wonderful japester and catch up on a couple of months' worth of snuggling :)

Met some very cool people.

Walked around Sydney CBD and looked at multitudes of shiny and groovy things that I would have bought if I'd had money...

All things considered, I've had a fabulous few days.

More detail to follow, perhaps, when my brain has had time to rest and process things...

In which I struggle to comprehend my feelings...

I think I am strong enough - but every so often, the beast reaches up to grip my heart with its iron paws.

My love is far away, and no matter how often I tell myself that it is not forever, there are moments I want him to be sharing with me, that pass by without him. Even just the times I want to reach out and hold his hand, or sit in companionable silence with him, I know it will have to wait.

And sometimes waiting is the greatest test that life can lay before us...
