dormant_dragon | as good as a holiday

I need to air out my life (and yes, probably my wardrobe as well...)

I started small today, by getting up early, cooking breakfast, walking the dog, brushing the dog, discovering that the dog has a rather serious case of dandruff, finding my two favourite rings and putting them back in their appropriate places (ie: fingers) and getting my old watch fixed.

Next is the passport application - I'm getting really sick of having no photo ID. Then comes the driver's licence, soon to lead to independent mobility. While that is in progress, will work on the rollerblades. Will be going op-shopping for said items of mobile footwear tomorrow morning, if anyone wants to join me.

Soon, inevitably, will come the change of job. Then, with any luck, the PhD plan will resurface, as will my novel, which has been enjoying a temporary hiatus.

Speaking of things being put on hold, it is very weird to have someone who is still very much part of your life, only not in the same way as they were. Decisions are very hard to catch. They move in herds with round tooits.
