So here I am, right back where I was this time last year - no job, no money, still no start to my rapidly-becoming-a-pipedream PhD. I need to get my butt out of its parking space and get my life back on track.
So far the only advantage I have found to being unemployed is that I get to spend more quality time with my dog. Bosworth is an attention sponge.
Today I made my body do strange and unnatural things - first it was kenjutsu training (which hopefully will feel less unnatural with more practice), then it was napping in an armchair (which definitely requires less practice). Consequently I have dull aches in lots of places. And I'm still tired.
Humph.
